Hiba was a Palestinian writer, poet, novelist, nutritionist, Wikimedian and storyteller from the displaced village of Beit Girga, who lived in the Gaza Strip. She wrote it to be a spokesperson for the Palestinian cause and its pain.
Her novel (Oxygen is not for the dead) won second place in the Sharjah Award for Arab Creativity in 2017
