معتز أحمد المصري Mu’taz Ahmed Al-Masri
Martyr: Child Mu’taz Ahmed Al-Masri, 3 and a half years old.
Martyr: Child Marwan Ahmed Al-Masri, 2 years old.
Their uncle wrote:
“My dear sister, my beloved, my friend, the light of my eyes, the joy of my heart, and the jasmine of my home, Rwan, the mother of Mu’taz and Marwan, my liver, Mu’taz, Marwan…
We consider them among the martyrs – with the permission of Allah. We only say what pleases our Lord: To Allah belongs what He takes, and to Him belongs what He gives, and everything with Him is measured. Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”
The grieving father also wrote:
“And hardship, no matter how long, is followed by ease. A promise from Allah, and this promise is sufficient for us. I entrust you all to Allah, and with Allah is the final meeting.”
Date of martyrdom: November 14, 2023.

كتب خال الشهيدين:
أختي حبيبتي صديقتي نورُ عيني مُهجة قلبي وياسمينةُ بيتي، روان بربخ أم المعتز، وفلذتي كبدها، معتز، مروان..
نحتسبهُم من الشّهداء – بإذن الله – لا نقولُ إلّا ما يُرضي ربّنا: للّه ما أخذَ، ولهُ ما أعطىٰ، وكلّ شيءٍ عندهُ بقدر.. حسبُنا اللّه ونعم الوكيل
وكتب الأب الحزين:
والعسر مهما طال فاليسر يتبعه .. وعد من ﷲ وهذا الوعد يكفينا استودع الله بكم جميعا وعند الله اللقاء.
