The martyr, Nagham Mahmoud Abudayyah, 17 years old
Nagham was very special to those who knew her, with pleasant features, in describing her they said, “She loved Almarai juice, Indomie, and falafel with her friend Wafa, and peas cooked by her mother.” These are Wafa’s simple rights that the occupier took away from her: to eat the food you love, quietly, without bombing. She had an ambition for a profession that she hid from everyone because she believed that what remained hidden, far from people’s knowledge, would come true, and now she traveled with her hidden profession to heaven. She was the friend who listened to all people’s problems to help them, while she was the secretive one who solved everything on her own for fear of others carrying her concerns. Her biggest fear was that she would become pieces, and be buried in a mass grave. Fortunately for her, they were not pieces, but her dream was not complete, as she was buried in a mass grave… Nagham was martyred on January 7, 2024.

نغم كانت بالنسبة لمن يعرفها مميّزةً جدًّا، تحمل ملامح لطيفة، وفي وصفها قالوا ” كانت تحبّ عصير المراعي والاندومي والفلافل مع صديقتها وفاء، وطبخة البازيلا من يد أمها”؛ هذه حقوقُ وفاء البسيطة التي سلبها منها المحتلّ، أن تتناول طعامك الذي تحب، بهدوء، من دون قصف. كانت تمتلك طموحًا في مهنة تخفيها عن الجميع لاعتقادها أن ما يبقى بالخفية بعيدًا عن معرفة الناس يتحقق، وها هي سافرت الآن مع مهنتها الخفية إلى السّماء. كانت الصّديقة التي تستمع لمشاكل الناس كافة لمساعدتهم، بينما كانت هي الكتومة التي تحل كل شيء بمفردها خوفًا على الآخرين من حملِ همّها. أكبر مخاوفها كانت أن تصير أشلاءً، وأن تدفن في قبر جماعي، من حسن حظها لم تكن أشلاءً، ولكنّ حلمها لم يكتمل، فقد دِفنت في قبر جماعيّ… استشهدت نغم في 7 يناير 2024.
