Viola was 26 years old.
Viola and Yara, members of the Amash family, were killed at Saint Porphyrius Greek Orthodox church in Gaza City. Hundreds of people were crowded into the church seeking shelter when it was hit by a missile. Among the victims, at least 16 people were killed at the church were relative to US Congress member Justin Amash wrote on X. “The Palestinian Christian community has endured so much. Our family is hurting badly. May God watch over all Christians in Gaza – and all Israelis and Palestinians who are suffering, whatever their religion or creed,” he said.
