The martyr, the infant Cydra Ayman Saleh Matar, Less than a year.
A relative of the mother wrote:
“And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” (Quran 3:169) We seek reward with Allah Almighty for the martyr, the child Cydra Ayman Matar, the daughter of my cousin Israa Abdel Aziz Fares. The young martyr had suffered severe inflammation in her lungs following exposure to the shelling with gas and smoke bombs about a month ago. She passed away early on Saturday, January 6, 2024, after oxygen was cut off from her during her stay in the intensive care unit at Kamal Adwan Hospital. To Allah belongs what He gives and what He takes, and all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds.

كتب أحد أقارب الأم:
“ولا تحسبنّ الذين قُتلوا في سبيل الله أمواتاً بل أحياءٌ عند ربهم يرزقون”
نحتسب عند الله عز وجل، الشهيدة الطفلة: سيدرا أيمن مطر، ابنة ابنة عمي: إسراء عبد العزيز فارس، وكانت الشهيدة الطفلة قد أصيبت بالتهاب حاد في الرئتين، عقب تعرضنا للقصف بالقنابل الغازية والدخانية قبل نحو شهر من اليوم، وتوفيت فجر اليوم السبت 6-1-2024، بعدما انقطع عنها غاز الأكسجين خلال مكوثها في غرفة العناية المركزة بمستشفى كمال عدوان لله ما أعطى ولله ما أخذ والحمد لله رب العالمين
