Salma AlShanbari, the child I previously mentioned born with a genetic disease suffering from elevated ammonia levels, and whose treatments are unavailable amid the aggression on Gaza. The Israeli occupation didn’t just leave her to endure the illness; it took her life with shrapnel hitting her small face and neck. You are now a little bird in heaven, Salma. 3-1-2023

الطّفلة سلمى الشنباري، والتي قد نشرتُ عنها مسبقًا أنّها وُلدت بمرض وراثيّ وتعاني من ارتفاع الأمونيا، ولا تتوفر علاجاتها في ظلّ العُدوان على غزّة.. سلمى لم يتركها الاحتلال تعاني مع المرض فحسب، بل قتلها بشظايا أصابت وجهها ورقبتها الصّغيرين.. عصفورة في الجنّة يا سلمى..
