The martyr, little Mira Saeed Nouri Tanbura, 6 years old,
embarked on a journey from one death to another.
Mira Saeed Tanbura, aged 6, was a resident of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. On the forty-second day of the brutal war, after a difficult night and intensive shelling in their residential area, the Israeli occupation forces bombed the Tal Al-Zaatar school in the Beit Lahia area, committing a massacre. Mira and her family sought refuge in the school, but as dawn broke, they were forced to evacuate to the southern areas of Gaza through the military checkpoint along Salah al-Din Street.
The Israeli army claimed that there was a safe passage for them to leave the combat zones (dangerous areas) and head south in Gaza. As Mira crossed the checkpoint, holding her father’s hand, hoping to escape from all the scenes of fear and horror, an Israeli sniper fired at her chest, ending her innocent life and allowing her soul to embrace the sky above, joining the ranks of the great ones, the martyrs.
Mira was martyred by the bullets of an Israeli occupation sniper at the separation barrier between Gaza and the southern sector on November 18, 2023.

ميرا سعيد طنبورة 6 سنوات. كانت ميرا من سكان بلدة بيت لاهيا شمال قطاع غزة، وفي اليوم الثاني والأربعين من الحرب الوحشية، وبعد ليلة صعبة وقصف مكثف على منطقة سكنهم، قصفت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مدرسة تل الزعتر في منطقة بيت لاهيا، مرتكبة مجزرة. ولجأت ميرا وعائلتها إلى المدرسة، لكن مع بزوغ الفجر اضطروا إلى النزوح إلى المناطق الجنوبية من غزة عبر ما يعرف بـ”الحاجز العسكري” الممتد على شارع صلاح الدين.
وزعم جيش الاحتلال أن هناك ممراً آمناً لهم لمغادرة مناطق القتال (مناطق الخطر) والتوجه إلى جنوب قطاع غزة. وبينما تعبر ميرا الحاجز، ممسكة بيد والدها، أملاً في الهروب من كل مشاهد الخوف والرعب، أطلق عليها قناص إسرائيلي النار في صدرها، منهياً حياتها البريئة وسمح لروحها أن تعانق السماء فوقها، لتنضم إلى صفوف العظماء. الشهداء.
واستشهدت ميرا برصاص قناص جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الحاجز الفاصل بين غزة وجنوب القطاع، في 18 نوفمبر 2023.
