بسملة صالح ماهر فروانه Basma Saleh Maher Farwaneh

Their aunt wrote:
“My beloved Aya, she was an icon of patience, steadfastness, and jihad, an entire army, the source of strength in our nation, and the most important force of stability. We never saw her despair, and she was never touched by a moment of heart weakness. If you met her, you felt as if you were in the time of the Companions. A successful doctor who obtained a board certificate in family medicine before A few months after her martyrdom, a great mother instilled in her daughters the values that made them excel in everything. They competed to memorize the Qur’an and wear the hijab. We called her among us Basma Jarrar, because she had absolute faith in the imminent liberation of Palestine, and that our prayers in Al-Aqsa were closer, and she always repeated either victory or victory. Or martyrdom, and I achieved what I wished for, acceptable to God.
Layan, the eldest and the only survivor, memorized nine parts of the Qur’an with her sister Basmah (or also known as “Bis”) until the tender Layan. I don’t know how long her body and heart can bear all this pain. Basma (‘Bass’), who is very strong and bold and is not afraid to boldly tell the truth to anyone. Very, very frank to the extreme. She wore the hijab even though it was not imposed on her when she was young. However, her mother’s good upbringing and pure origin made her branches carry the scent of goodness.
Ola, the darling of our hearts, her father’s pampered little one, small in size but large in the soundness of her mind. I have never seen more beautiful eyes than her smile and her amazement at the simplest things. Her intense enthusiasm when Aya cooked her favorite meal (lentil soup) flew joyfully to inform the entire building (‘Mama cooked lentils for me because I love them’). My beloved Imad, the soul of his grandfather and grandmother, the one who was inseparable from them, the one with the charming smile and the lover of cars like his father. Imad used to come down to his grandmother and say to her, ‘Tata, what do you think about having coffee together?’ And Tata never refused a request, for my mother always liked someone to drink coffee with her and hated to drink it alone. Our delightful child knew his grandmother well.
My dear Saleh, we know very well how wonderful a father you were and a righteous husband, loving. However, these are the decrees of Allah, for Allah gives and takes, and it is only a selection for our elite and the righteous among us. We don’t praise anyone on Allah, but we count them as such, as Allah has tied them to our hearts and the heart of my beloved Layan and the heart of Saleh.
They were martyred in the Frawaneh family massacre on October 15, 2023.”

كتبت عمة الشهداء:
حبيبتي آية، كانت أيقونة بالصبر والثبات والجهاد كانت جيشاً بأكمله، عنصر القوة في بيتنا وأهم مراكز التثبيت. لم نرى منها يوماً يأساً ولم يتخلل لقلبها يوماً فتور، إن قابلتها شعرت أنها من زمان الصحابيات. طبيبة ناجحة حصلت على شهادة البورد في طب العائلة قبل شهور من استشهادها، أم عظيمة ترى غرسها في بناتها اللواتي كنّ يتميزن في كل موضع ومكان. يتسابقن على حفظ القرآن وعلى لبس الحجاب كنا نسميها في ما بيننا (بسّامة جرار) فكانت مؤمنة إيماناً مطلق بقرب تحرير فلسطين وأن صلاتنا في الأقصى أقرب من أي وقت مضى. كانت تردد دوماً إما نصر وإما شها..دة فنالت ما تمنت تقبلها الله. لين حبيبتي أكبرهن، الناجية الوحيدة منهم حفظت من القرآن تسع أجزاء هي وأختها بسملة (أو كمان نحب أن نناديها بيس) لين الرقيقة الناعمة التى كنت أقول عنها دائما أميرة رقيقة لا يصلح مع خشن الكلام والأفعال حبيبتي عاشت الاستهداف بأكمله وخرجت منه ناجية وحيدة لين الرقيقة لا أعلم كم سيحتمل جسدها وقلبها كل هذا الألم. بسملة (بيس) القوية جداً الجريئة التى لا تخشى قول كلمة حق في وجه أي كان صريحة جداً جداً لأبعد حد تحجبت لين فسارعت بسملة تشاركها الحجاب رغم عدم فرضه عليها وصغر سنها إلا أن غرس أمه طيب وأصله طيب فأفرع الطيب منه. علا حبيبة القلب دلوعة والدها صغيرة في حجمها وعمرها كبيرة في رجاحة عقلها لم ترى عيني قط أجمل من ابتسامتها واندهاشها في أبسط الأشياء حماسها الشديد عندما تطهو آية وجبتها المفضلة (شوربة العدس) تطير فرحاً لتخبر كل العمارة بأكملها (ماما طبخت عدس عشاني، عشان أنا بحبه) حبيبي عماد روح قلب جده وجدته ونيسهم الذى ما كان أن ينفك عنهم صاحب الإبتسامة الجذابة وعاشق السيارات مددل أبوه. عماد كان ينزل عن جدته لوالده يقول لها (تاتا شو رأيك نشرب قهوة أنا وإنت) وتاتا لا تكذب طلباً فأمي دائماً ما تحب أن يشرب أحداً معها القهوة وتبغض أن تشربها لوحدها، فطفلنا اللذيذ يعرف جدته جيداً حبيبي صالح نعلم جيداً كم كنت أباً رائعاً وزوجاً صالحاً محباً ولكنها أقدار الله، فلله ما يعطي ولله ما يأخذ وما هذا إلا اصطفاء لصفوتنا والصالحين منا ولا نزكي على الله أحد ولكن نحسبهم كذلك ربط الله على قلوبنا وقلب حبيبتي لين وقلب صالح.
